The hugely successful, highly original, inescapably endearing duo NIZLOPI are back on the road this November, for the first time since their 2008 split – armed with a brand new live CD. The tour finale will be in Dublin - their sole Irish date. Here Luke gives us a glimpse of himself in an interview:

 1. Who are you?
We are Nizlopi - a radical folk hip hop duo from Warwickshire, England.

 2. Where are you based?
Now we're in London, but travelling, playing and writing all over.

 3. What achievements do you want me to know about?
We've made music we're really proud of about things we're passionate about. As a band on our own Independent label we have played Hyde Park, Wembley, and soon the Royal Albert Hall. We've been influential on great young artists like Ed Sheeran.

 4. What are you up to now?
We're on tour and coming to Dublin on the 29th Nov! Writing, organising. And we're both cranking other projects too.

  5. Name something unique about you or/and your product?
We like mixing politics, humour and joy with hip hop jazz and folk.

  6. What is the best song ever written?

To this impossible question I answer 'Mulema' by Richard Bona.

7. What's the best album ever made.
Munirr bashir live in Budapest

  8. What are your future plans? To make red hot songs, help people and be a good lover.

  9. Where can I spend money on you or your product? Nizlopi.com
