Mixtape: The Spirit of Folk 2012

One of the highlights of 2011 for me was the inaugural Spirit of Folk festival in Dunderry, Co. Meath.

Well news has come through that 2012 will be bigger and better! Along with all the folk games, experimental archaeology, medieval village, falconry, storytelling .... there will be an extra night at the festival and a second stage to keep the music flowing all day. Here's a lovely wee animation announcing the headliners:

A limited supply of Early Bird weekend ticketsfor €65 and day tickets for €35 will be available until 31st May only. From June onwards, weekend tickets will cost €85 and day tickets will cost €45.
To purchase your Spirit of Folk 2012 tickets go to www.tickets.ie. For more information, checkout www.spiritoffolk.com or follow them on Twitter (@Spirit_of_Folk) or give an auld like on  Facebook.com/spiritoffolkfestival.
